Back Septagram Internet Hazard Catalogue Entry 07 - [Client-Side Crypt]
Hazard type: Digital Vector: Network Danger: Non-lethal/Low disruption Range: Limited
Client-Side Crypt is formerly a webpage depicting a white skull on a black background, followed by William Gibson's Agrippa (A Book Of The Dead) poem. Once a viewer has finished reading the poem, the webpage will close, and various dialogue boxes reading "process failed with exit code 12" will present themselves regardless of the operating system or software stack. The system will then throw a fatal error. This occurrence does not appear to be harmful to the system and is merely jarring to the user. Filtering has been supported since the earliest public version of Septagram NetCleaner.
